Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you are able to reflect on thankful things. It’s a good reminder of the importance of-

  • A few good people whom you enjoy, who make you laugh, and who can set you straight when needed.
  • Some food to nourish our bellies and the ability to rest.
  • Praising Jesus.

Who cares about the extra ‘stuff’. The basics are simple. Love.

November Thankfulness #13

Enjoying the day with family on the farm

I don’t take for granted the ability to live within driving distance of the farm. My experience has fully prepared me for the awareness of not living near family. I am thankful that we can gather together, enjoy food, maybe a little TV parade watching and football, and likely eat a lot of food. It does not pass me of this gift. This gift where the kids can run around on the farm and we can visit with others. You can see for miles and miles (and then more miles). It forces you to relax and rest.

I’m very thankful.
