The Royal Family in the News …and my opinions
In the last week you probably heard about the Royal Family’s recent visit from the Obama family ({link}. Also the Obama family visited Windsor. They are such a cute family. Prince William seems like such a gentleman, Princess Kate can’t be more stunning (sister needs to spill her secrets), and don’t get me started on Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

But I respect their decision making in privacy as they navigate life with a young family, but I loooove that the Palace shared pictures of inside their London home. And c’mon, that is some awesome design style inside! Cozy yet sophisticate.
I feel like there is something so relatable to the young Royal Family. Is it just me? I mean even though they are Royalty, they also seem like down to earth, normal people. Maybe because Will & Kate are around my age, they are a young family with young kids, or because it’s a real live PRINCE AND PRINCESS. Confession: I watched majority of their wedding when it was televised. I was so intrigued and fasinated. #hours
When I was in London in 2012, a motor parade passed by us with Prince Harry in the car. I forget how I found out it was him, but just believe me. At the moment I was in awe. “Seriously. Prince Harry JUST passed us.”
The Royal Family are Advocates for Mental Health
As a health advocate myself, I am so supportive of this initiative. It’s true that when well known individuals back and support an initiative, more awareness and attention can be brought to the issue. And mental health is serious.
In this article {link}, it addresses the Royal Family’s advocacy towards the #HeadsTogether campaign. This is a great, short video:
